We had a nice meal at the Grand Grill with a waiter who needs a different job. Beds were firm, pillows unwieldy, but nevertheless a comfy room with microwave and frig. I called down again and asked to see a room on the east wing, This was floor 10, with a beautiful view and an updated a/c system that kicked out lovely cool air over our whole stay. The bellman came up with keys and was most accommodating - but the room was the same. I called the front desk and asked to be moved somewhere close by to a room with a workable a/c.
The a/c - very important to me - was virtually non-existent and a really old system. My roomie and I stayed August 9 and 10th, and were issued a room on the 5th floor of the west tower. I used to come here much more often, but lost interest as comps waned and fell off, along with losing alot of keno games. Stayed here using a complimentary stay coupon as a Grand Rewards member.
